MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTORS
Shema School recognizes that the holistic growth of a child depends on the environment the child is exposed to specifically, home, church and school. A Godly and loving learning environment stimulates the child’s mental growth, inspires critical thinking and positive character development. We draw our training principles from the Holy Scriptures with Deuteronomy 6:6-7 being the basis of our teaching philosophy. We derive the name of our school “Shema” from this scripture.
“These words I am commanding you today must be kept in mind, and you must teach them to your children and speak of them as you sit in your house, as you walk along the road, as you lie down, and as you get up”. Deuteronomy 6:6-7
Shema School is a Premier Christian Education Center and we recognize God as the Essence, the Means and the Meaning of true education.
Guided by our five principles that true education must be God-Centered, Holistic, Practical, Innovative and Synergetic we focus on promoting creative thinking, talent development, practical skills, values formation and character building. Our approach is a triumvirate partnership of the Home, Church and School, as we believe that this partnership is crucial in the development of a Holistic child.
We offer a bright, creative and safe environment for your child to learn, play and grow in a warm setting. The classroom and outdoor facilities take advantage of a young child’s innate curiosity thus stimulating active learning. Shema School children are encouraged to test ideas, to learn how to be resourceful and to experience the joy and satisfaction of a well-earned achievement, while learning to appreciate the rights, needs and abilities of others. We have a wonderful team of teaching and non-teaching staff who play a crucial role in guiding and encouraging each child according to his or her individual interests and present level of development.
If you are looking for this Loving and Godly-learning environment for your child, please contact us and we will be happy to enroll your child and have you join the Shema School Family.
